Congress Ranks Last in Confidence in Institutions
OUCH! Nothing else to say.
Underscoring Congress’ image problem, half of Americans now say they have "very little" or "no" confidence in Congress, up from 38% in 2009 — and the highest for any institution since Gallup first asked this question in 1973.
Congress Ranks Last in Confidence in Institutions
Coincidence?
While perusing some comments on the Times Record News site, I read a comment where someone had posted a thought about the change drug cartel violence and Muslim Extremists. So I spent about three minutes looking around. It may bear further research when I have absolutely nothing to do.
I didn’t bother looking up links […]
Seriously?
This story from the Washington Post.
Mention the new "tan tax" in a major news outlet and cries of discrimination and reverse racism often follow.
‘Tan tax’ discussions include allegations of reverse racism
And this one from the AP.
To me it [the gulf oil spill] was more about eight years of bad policy before (Obama) got there […]

Restoration of America’s International Status?
The House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee said Britain should be "more willing to say no" to the United States and warned that London will probably not be able to influence Washington as much in future.

STILL Bushes fault
So, here it is, six o’clock on a Monday morning, and I’m enjoying a cuppa’ joe when I begin reading about the senate race between Coakley (D) and Brown (R). It seems that her supporters are blaming her increasingly dismal race on Bush. Indeed, Patrick Kennedy states the Democrats have failed because the didn’t keep […]
Climate Change
White House Press Secretary on climate change:
"I don’t think that’s anything that is, quite frankly, among most people, in dispute anymore,"
Gibbs: Despite research dispute, ‘climate change is happening’ - The Hill’s Blog Briefing Room
Can someone tell me what planet the White House is on? Please?
Is Washington D.C. really all this disconnected with reality Do […]
America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009
I am stunned that any of the people of this nation are buying the Health Care plan being peddled by the Democrats in the House. It’s Orwellian as soon as the short title is read.
This Act is the very opposite of affordable and removes any vestiges of choice related to health care.
The need for privacy […]
