Google has sort of worthless little gadgets that you can place on your site should you desire to do so.

This particular one lets you make a few custom changes to a spider and his/her box. The spider follows around the mouse pointer when inside the box. As I said, they appear worthless for my needs.

There is a clock and a weather forecast gadget that could prove beneficial for many sites.

So, if you need some neat little feature for your site, you might consider looking at Google for freebies that might fit your needs.
